WECAN’s Housing Resource Center (WHRC) provides information about housing options in Woodlawn including rental, homeownership and cooperative housing options.

The WHRC has served as an intake center for Community Development Association (CEDA) Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) for over 20 years. It has saved many Woodlawn blocks from deterioration by helping both landlords and residents overcome housing problems, utilizing such revitalization tools as weatherization resources, emergency repair and maintenance, feasibility studies, financial analysis, resident selection, acquisition financing and debt restructuring.
